Fight

coupleI think by the nature of human relationships we all get knocked down somewhere along the way. It is harder than we give ourselves credit to get up and go again. The unseen scars our breakups we carry will not just disappear overnight but sometimes takes years to heal. It can also sometimes feel like we are past the point of no return. But I believe when we give up, when we stop going after our passions is when we start to slowly die. But as long as you got something worth a fight, something that drags you out of the bed in the morning we will stay in better form.

And I strongly believe if we have something we are passionate about, everything else will take care of itself. I don’t mean this in a way that we should be irresponsible, but often we concentrate on things like money or fame more than actually trying to give something to people. And I believe love is very much the same. It’s not something we should desperately go after, but let it happen naturally. I for one think seeing people being passionate about something they do is one of the most attractive things in the world.

So that was some of the thoughts rolling around my head while writing this weeks song. I actually got so into the song that I lost all the perspective of it along the way. I just went with my instincts while recording it and hoped for the best 😀 But a few weeks later while writing this post I listen to the song again several times, as I usually do to remind me what went through my head while writing the song, I started to have chills running down my neck. And I can tell you, those chills are a great thing 😉 So hopefully you will enjoy it as well.

Oh yeah, I nearly forgot 😀 (it’s been a busy week…) The new album “The Call” is up on iTunes for Pre-Order right now. Check it out HERE. But as always I’ll have the album available on my website as well when it comes out.
