Living Till The Day He Died

I’ll be straight with you, this weeks song is a deep one. I lost an old friend during the week, and that kind of emotional charge inevitably made it’s way to this weeks song. The song is written from the perspective of the loved ones, who I also knew. But deep down it is just what I would expect them to be going through. We have all been there, we have all lost someone in our life. It is one of those unavoidable things. But when the reason behind the loss is something like cancer, it is easy to find your self asking why? Why our loved one?

But the silver lining is that this friend of mine lived his life to the fullest. He was an artist, singer-songwriter, actor, writer, journalist… and he was successful at all of the above. And he only weeks before was traveling around with a cheater company performing night after night. He always had a joke up his sleeve and put a smile on everyones face. I will miss him, but I will remember him with a song.

So I hope you guys enjoy this song as well, and if you have gone through something similar, maybe this song can be a reminder of someone you have lost as well. You can get a copy of this weeks song from my Bandcamp page HERE. As usual you name the price, and if you can’t afford, just put $0.00 on the price and you are good to go 🙂 Let me know what you think of the song.
