Vlog 245 17th of July 2016 Vlog update

We are only few days away from Sliotar’s summer tour. I think the fact that I haven’t traveled that much in the past few months has me really exited to get out of Dublin for a bit. But more on all of that shortly 🙂

It’s been a productive week in the JP head quarters (my small office/studio.) I am working on few extra songs to have them ready to be released while I am on our, and they are coming along nicely. I also had a pretty smooth vlogging week, hope you guys enjoyed them. So lets take a look at what got posted on my vlog during the week:

This weeks song “I hope some day” is a song about how our past relationships can leave few ghosts behind. Check it out here:

I hope some day

In the Monday’s vlog the hay fever got the better of me. and I had to go to the doctor. I had Liberty Hell gig that night and I wanted to make sure I was in top form for it. I also Included some music from the gig in the vlog, so check it out here:

This better make me feel better

In Tuesday’s vlog we take you to the best Fish and chips shop in Dublin. It was delicious!

Among the other things, me and Brian have a chat about how we feel about the so called “prima donnas” on the music business:

If all else fails, have Twirl and coffee

While working on this weeks new song, I decided to show you guys a little bit of my process of working on vocals:

In the Friday’s vlog I talk about this weeks new song and a friend of mine Santi from The Porterhouse try to explain to me the Pokemon go game:

I hope some day and Pokemon

In the last vlog of the week me and Brian are celebrating a small business adventure. But most of all I wanted to show you guys the wonderful steak at the Whitefriar grill 😉

Secret celebrations

That brings to conclusion another week of vlogs and songs 🙂 And as always before I let you go, there is just a little bit of house keeping.  If you enjoy what I do and want to support me, please consider supporting my Patreon campaign. Patreon is a great platform that connects the makers of the art with their audience directly. And by supporting your favourite artists directly, you make sure the artist can keep on making art in the artists terms, not some rules set out by record label big shots, or book publishers to make the art bland enough to try to please every one, but in the end not really fulfilling anyone. If you want to be part of my support system, check out my Patreon page HERE.

As I mentioned before, towards the end of next week we will get started on the tour vlogs, so stay tuned. And once again from the bottom of my heart, thank you for watching my vlogs 🙂
