The Truth Looks Different by J.P. Kallio

In the past week, I spent a lot of time thinking about truth, and peoples need to find it. In my humble experience, it all comes down to perspective. The truth looks different through every person’s eyes. There was a time people were told as a truth that cigarettes were good for you. And don’t even get me started on the endless nutritional misconceptions we have been fed over the past decade. What makes us human is the fact that we all have some kind of bias. What we perceive as truth is often a mixture of facts and belief. I think what we could do more with right now is compassion and understanding that we are never going to all agree on everything. And it is okay to not always agree, but we should try to find a way to respect other people’s “truth”.
