Do you ever feel like no one cares about your music, or art? How can you make sure other people get exited about what you do? How can you light up the fire in other people? The answer is much more simple than you might think.
Get exited about what you do. Excitement is infectious. If you believe in what you do, and by this I meant truly believe. Don’t make excuses why it might not work (time was not right, people don’t understand your music…) instead be genuinely exited. What ever you do is not going to be for everybody, but if you keep at it, and stay exited, you will eventually find your audience.
What did I do after my first album came out? I started to work on the next one. Why? Because I am passionate about making music and writing songs. The traditional advice would have been to tour and promote that album for the next eighteen months to a two years. But I was too exited to stop creating 🙂 And with every song I released, I built little bit more momentum. And every Friday I wake up exited, as I know I get to share music with people. And that excitement is infectious, use it to your advantage. If you don’t believe in what you do, why should I?
