I ain’t turning back

You guys should know by now that I am all about living your life to the fullest and going after what ever it is you are passionate about. But at the same time, I see people getting lost on the way. What so many of us forget that going after your passion always involves a lot of hard work. It is so easy to just think of the glamorous lifestyle we see in the media. Many of us try to live that, before we actually have done the hard work. The thing is, it is hard to create great art if you are dying with a massive hangover.

What people rarely tell you is that even if you are “The artistic type,” your work ethic and how you present yourself has a massive effect on your success. If people associate you as being the drunk at the bar, or someone who is always late, you can be sure they will not want to work with you for long. It’s all fun and cool for a bit. But when it comes to that big important commission job you can be sure they will go with someone they know will deliver in time.

It is hard to pretend that everything is alright when the drunken argument from the night before is still in your mind. You and only you are responsible of your own actions. And if you don’t start to take responsibility for your actions, sooner or later it might be too late.

This weeks new song “I ain’t turning back” is a song from the perspective of someone who is not scared of the hard work. Someone who know where they are heading and are not willing to let any excuses on the way.

I truly hope that some of you can find inspiration and encouragement in the song. Maybe some of you will get something completely different out of it, or even if you just enjoy the song as nothing more than just a song. Never the less, you can download the song from my Bandcamp page HERE. I said this many times before, you can name your own price. But if the cash is short, just put $0.00 as the price and you are good to go. I want you to have the song and even better, hopefully get something out of the song.

It really means a world to me that you guys check out these weekly songs 🙂 At the end of the year it is going to be three years since I started releasing song every Friday, and having you guys along the journey it really means a lot. Back for more next week 😉
