7th of August 2016 Vlog update

We have the second week of tour vlogs behind us. As I mentioned before, I am filming these a few days ahead of the schedule. So I am writing this back in Dublin 🙂 It has been a great tour, but there are still some tour vlogs ahead, so lets not get ahead of things.

This week I finally managed to upgrade my camera. But having the new camera is still a learning curve, so if the sound on the video version of this vlog update is bit low, I’m sorry… I’m still learning 🙂 But you can expect more detailed equipment reviews in the next week or so 😉

Now let’s get straight into the vlogs and music:

This weeks song “The Fresh Winds of Autumn” is a song about the desire to pack your bags and leave everything behind. Check it out here and grab your download from my Bandcamp page:

We start the first vlog of the week with the beautiful city of Prague. We had a day off in the city and I spent the day filming 🙂

Exploring Prague

After Prague, we headed back to Moravia, where we played with the wonderful Vintage Wine:

All things must come to an end. It was our time to leave Czech republic behind and head down to Austria. After a long day of driving in the heat, we arrived in Tieschen:

The reason why we were is Tieschen was the Steirisch Irisch Keltisch festival, where Sliotar performed their last show of the tour:

The day after the last show, we went for a swim at the Slovenian border:

In the last vlog of the week we have an extensive winery tour in the Meinhof Sorger:

And that is a wrap for the week. A little bit of house keeping before I let you go.  If you enjoy what I do and want to support me, please consider supporting my Patreon campaign. Patreon is a great platform that connects the makers of the art with their audience directly. And by supporting your favourite artists directly, you make sure the artist can keep on making art in the artists terms, not some rules set out by record label big shots, or book publishers to make the art bland enough to try to please every one, but in the end not really fulfilling anyone. If you want to be part of my support system, check out my Patreon page HERE.

Absolutely massive thank you to you guys for sticking around with me through the tour. A lot more cool stuff on the way, so stay tuned 🙂
