Vlog 294 4th of September 2016 Vlog update

It’s September!?! So the last of the summer is slipping away through our fingers and the autumn breeze is already in the air. Or maybe we are due an indian summer? Who knows… But what I do know is that I will be chasing the summer for few extra weeks in about weeks time 😉 The regular readers and followers of my vlog know by now that I have a quite epic trip planned to Hong Kong and Bali and to say that I am exited right now is an under estimation of the year.

But as always, before I go, there is quite a lot of work to be done before I go. I still want to make sure you guys get the weekly songs every Friday, and that the vlogs are running smoothly even when I am in transit. Thankfully with today’s technology I can automate some of the stuff. But that definitely means I need to be few days ahead of the schedule, which means a lot of work for the next week or so 😀 But as long as there is enough hours in a day and a steady supply of coffee, I am fine with it.

So what did the week gone hold in store? Lets dig straight into it:

This weeks song “Crystal and Gold” was sticking with the concept of our dreams and how to make them true. Check it out here, download your copy and let me know what you think:

Crystal and Gold

I started the week with a trio to Dublin’s Grand canal docks and I show you guys an old ship I would like to rescue someday 🙂

I want to save this abandoned ship

As I told you guys before, I am bad at naming these vlogs 😀 Trust me when I tell you, this vlog is much more interesting than it’s tittle:

Working through a headache

I have been meaning to take you guys on one of my favourite walks in the County Dublin. This is the walk from Howth summit to the Howth village. Check it out, this is my happy place:

Howth cliffs, my favourite walk

Here is a question I get asked time and time again. So I thought it was time to turn it into a vlog. There is some solid advice here and it is very much up to date advice for musicians in 2016:

How to become a musician

As usual, in the Friday vlog I talk about this weeks song, but we also have an epic sunrise:

Amazing Dublin sunrise

As I mentioned in the beginning of this post, I have a lot of work to do before my next trip. One thing I need to do is to write and record four songs in a week! Do you think I can do it?

Four songs in one week! Can I do it?

And that wraps up the week. Let me know what you thought about this weeks vlogs. Just the usual bit of house keeping, before I let you go. If you enjoy what I do and want to support me, please consider supporting my Patreon campaign. Patreon is a great platform that connects the makers of the art with their audience directly. And by supporting your favourite artists directly, you make sure the artist can keep on making art in the artists terms, not some rules set out by record label big shots, or book publishers to make the art bland enough to try to please every one, but in the end not really fulfilling anyone. If you want to be part of my support system, check out my Patreon page HERE.

So we are only a week away from the trip, but I am committed into making this another week filled with some great content, so stay tuned 🙂
