I am a big advocate for following your gut. But there are exceptions to this as well. Especially us musicians, we can prioritize things based on our gut feeling. When it comes to choosing between paying for some online promotion, or buying a new guitar, many of us choose to follow the materialistic option.

Sure thing great sounding professional instrument is important, but if you already have one, you need to ask your self do you really need another one? Could you use the money on something else? Or if you don’t have money to promote your latest album, maybe that old guitar you have not played for about a year, is it really worth holding onto? In moments like these you need to evaluate what is important.
