May 2nd past weeks posts

wet J.P.I can’t believe it is May already! I suppose I should start slowly but surely to freak out, Sunday next week is my 39th birthday and I’ll be counting down the days to my big 40!!! But for some reason I am surprisingly calm πŸ™‚ I had one of those weeks where I got a lot done, but it took me long time to get started and finish stuff. So Friday is here, and I’ll be posting a new song for you later, but before that let’s look what I got up to on my website in the past week πŸ™‚ And by the way, the picture is me absolutely drenched after a walk in a rain.

First of all last Friday I brought out once again a new song. This one was song called “Back Home”, again a track from my second album “Read Between The Lines” that will be out on 10th of June. The blog post I wrote for the song was a bit of a trip down the memory lane. Check it out:

Back Home

Last Sunday I was in a mood to write just something random, but as is the case with me so often, these random things evolve in to something much more deeper πŸ˜€ Check it out here:

Sunday, what is it to you?

On Tuesday I had fire under my fingers and this post I wrote on the subject of Money V Art really seemed to hit the nerve for lot of people. Check it out here:

Which comes first, art or money?

Wednesday I finally put off my fear of tackling one of my favourite songs by Trent Reznor from Nine Inch Nails, that was also made famous by one of my heroes Johnny Cash. I recorded a video of my self singing the song in my office. Check it out here:

Mid week video – Hurt

I promised to write few reviews of albums that I like. There was me thinking it will be easy to scribble some thoughts quickly, but it turns out the more I like the album, the harder it is to write about it. It took me two days to get the review of Jason Isbell’s latest album “Southeastern” finished πŸ˜€ But here it is:

Southeastern, a modern classic by Jason Isbell

I am starting to like these weekly update blogs, as it makes me reflect on my week. By Thursday night I’m usually kicking my self on how little I got done, but this kind of puts things in to a perspective once again πŸ˜€ Loads more stuff on the way and thanks for reading and listening:-)
