The Fresh Winds of Autumn

I have a tendency to fall into structure of habits, when it comes into my day to day life. I do find this can be helpful for creativity. But at the same time, I do have a restless heart. I need to break out of those habits and routine regularly. But even so, from time to time I feel the need to just pack my bags and just hit the road without a definite plan of when I’ll be back. I do have a explorers soul. Many of you know by now that my late father was truck driver, and I spent a lot of my childhood traveling with him. I guess it left certain amount of restlessness in me 😉

And this weeks song “The Fresh Winds of Autumn” is all about that restless heart, but also how we sometimes commit to ourselves to something full heartedly, only to realise later that we were the only ones willing to put the work in, while others just were happy to sit on the side and reap the benefits. In moments like these, I feel the need to just pack my bags and make a fresh new start.

Now little bit of geeking on the guitars once again 😉 Few weeks back I tested out Brian’s Yamaha   LLX6A. You can check out the vlog HERE. This song was recorded with that Yamaha and by only using one microphone at around the 16th fret. I was pretty impressed with the results.
