Vlog 287 28th of August 2016 Vlog update

I can’t believe another week just slipped by. It feels like it was only yesterday when I put out last weeks vlog update. It’s the summer months when you want the time to slow down, but it just seem to go faster 😀 But hey, I am not complaining. My holidays are only just around the corner and I have an epic trip planned, so get ready for some serious travel vlogs 😉

We had real up and down weather here in Dublin once again (so what’s new?) But I tried to make the most of both extremes. I’ve been out a lot taking photographs, which some of you guys really seem to be enjoying on my Instagram 🙂

So without any further delays, lets get into this weeks content:

This weeks song “Don’t give up just yet” is all about not letting go of your dreams. Don’t forget that you can download the song from my Bandcamp page and listen and read all about it here:

Don’t give up just yet

In the beginning of the week we had a glorious summers day, so I decided to make the most of it:

If you only check out one vlog this week, I’d say check out the Friday’s vlog 😉 But if you have a chance to check out two, this definitely is the second one. I talk about how artists and companies can use Instagram to tell their story. It is quite powerful stuff:

Using Instagram to tell your story

Then the rain was back… But there is something nice about sitting in a corner of a pub on a rainy day and just play music 🙂

Rainy day

In the Thursday’s vlog I try to get all my work finished in time before I take my girlfriend out on a date night:

In the Friday’s vlog I talk about this weeks song and how we should not give up on dreams. I also go out on a rainy day Instagram mission:

Don’t give up on your dreams

And we finish the week with Liberty Hell in the Porterhouse:

Des want’s to mazurka the night away with me

Hope you guys enjoyed this weeks vlogs and the new song. Let me know your thoughts. Before I let you go, just the usual bit of house keeping.  If you enjoy what I do and want to support me, please consider supporting my Patreon campaign. Patreon is a great platform that connects the makers of the art with their audience directly. And by supporting your favourite artists directly, you make sure the artist can keep on making art in the artists terms, not some rules set out by record label big shots, or book publishers to make the art bland enough to try to please every one, but in the end not really fulfilling anyone. If you want to be part of my support system, check out my Patreon page HERE.

As always, there is a lot more stuff on the way, so stay tuned and from the bottom of my heart, thank you for watching the vlogs, checking out my Instagram and downloading the songs. You guys rock!
