OK, I’ll admit it, I’m a workaholic. The difference these days is that I got better at time management, still a long way to go, and I realise that I am a workaholic. The importance of realising this has helped me to understand the importance of taking time to stop. I take time to switch off from my hectic workload even for a few minutes, and when I come back to it, I actually work more efficiently.
But also from time to time you need to take a longer break, few days or even few weeks. And for me the most portent thing is to get out of my everyday surroundings. This is what I call charging the batteries 🙂 So never think that you don’t have time to take a break. The longer you work non stop, the worse your productivity and efficiency will become. Take time to stop.
