Disaster

disasterWhen a disaster strikes, we panic. We panic like there is no tomorrow. The world is going to come to an end, and if not, at least it is going to swallow you! For crying out loud, you have a show next week and Facebook has change their algorithm once again and you can reach anybody…

OK, for starters, if Facebook was your main promotional plan, yep you’re doomed 😀 But the fact is, things will go wrong and they will keep on doing that regularly no  matter what. That’s life, it ain’t always fare. But still, the fact is, no matter how much you feel like it (or the Westboro Baptist church predicts it), life will go on.

In the music business you will face setbacks. The thing is, try to learn from them and no matter what, the next day get up and go again. The amount of times I felt over the years like I failed and I might just as well quit. But I never did, that’s why I am still playing music, doing what I love.

And this is not just music business. It has happened to me in real life as well, over and over again. But you just need to pick your self and keep going, and life will eventually find away to make it all OK.

Just ask your self, did anyone die? Probably not. Is the damage something that can not be fixed? Probably not. Most personal, or business disasters seem much worse when you are in the middle of them.

Don’t worry more than likely you will be fine.
